ORDINANCE NO. 371
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 20 OF ORDINANCE NO. 351, CHARGES FOR COLLECTION
AND DISPOSAl.
THE CITY ORDAINS:
SECTION 20 - GARBAGE, RUBBISH AND WASTE MATERIALS, RESIDENCE, DWELLING,
CCHlERCIAL AND INWSTRIAl UNITS; CHARGES FOR COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL.
For the collection. removal and disposal of garbage, rubbish and/or
wste mteria1 from residence.dwelling, cOBBercialand industrial establish-
lleftts within the City. the following charges shall be made for the following
services:
Class 1. Businesses, including dentists, ~sicians and clinics:

Offices(Wlste paper only) - $2.00 per IIOIIth. weekly collection.
Class 2. Weekly Collection
Residences - $3.50 per month.
Resident pack-out service - $4.50 per IROnth. flat rate(can ..st be
eas11y accessible and within a reasonable distance frCIII the alley, street,
or utility easement at the discretion of the garbage contractor.
Apartments(more than two units having COll8OR cans) - $3.25 per IIOnth
for each unit on individual billing; $3.00 for each unit for single(1and-
lord) biUing and central pick-up. Pack-out service $1.00 additional per
unit. Pack-out service provided at the discretion of the garbage con-
tractor.
CLASS 3. Special Services
In the event the City and/or the Contractor is requested to enter the
custOlller's premises to remove garbage(except pack-out service. which is a
resi~ntial service only) such service may be performed and the charge shall
be 25% over the regular rate.
CLASS 4. Vacant or unoccupied dwellings an~esidence8
There shill be ne charge for residences that are vacant. Prior
arrangements shall be made with the City by making written application
for garbage service to be discontinued because of unoccupancy, previded
the residence is unoccupied three weeks or longer of anyone month.

The Municipal service rate shall be $ .15 per can.
Use of the dl.ll1p by military organizations shall be charged at the
rate of $50.00 per month per organization.
Use of the dUmp by construction contractors or finns doing repair.
rehabl1itation, alteration. or construction \-lOn shall be Charged at the
rite of $50.00 per I!lOnth per contractor.
CLASS G. Time and Equipment Rate
Services p~~'!idec that 4:oe not covered elsewhere for ga1"iAge, rubbi!"
and waste removal shall be charged at the basic rate of $17.00 per hour.
This cbarge shall inelude the use of a truck and a driver. The R1inir.HIII
charge that can be made under the Time and Equipment Rate is for one/half
hour.

:"f ten (10) days on the City Hall Bulletin Board, and by publishing a notice of
the place of posting and a brief statement of the purpose hereof in a nwspaper of
general circulation in the City, t/UMn a reasonable time.
