Fi~ City Clerk-Treasurer AN ORDINANCE CREATING SECTION 5-98 OF THE SEWARD CODE AND ESTABLISHING FEES FOR THE USE OF THE SMALL BOAT HARBOR GRID. T HE CITY OF SEWARD ORDAINS: SECTION 1. That Section 5-98, Grid Fees, is hereby created to read as follows: Section 5-98. Grid Fees. The following charges are established for approved use of the grid on a first come, first served basis, as determined by a control list maintained by the Harbor Master: a. Vessels under thirty-three feet (33 ') : each 24 hour period. b. Vessels over thirty-three feet (33') : each 24 hour period. $15.00 $3e.00 c. Grid Payments due in Advance: Application for use of the grid shall be accompanied by payment in full for such intended use. d. Penalty for failure to Schedule Use or make Advance Payment as required: Use of the grid without advance permission of the Harbor Master renders said user or vessel subject to payment of a penalty in the amount of $25.00. Failure to pay in advance as set forth in Paragraph (c) above renders said user or vessel subject to payment of a penalty of 10% of the amount due if permission to use the Grid has been obtained in advance or $25.00 if required permission was not obtained. Failure to secure permission and make advance payment renders the user or vessel liable to the combined penalties listed above ($50.00). Penalties are in addition to the standard charges levied and must be paid prior to the time the vessel is removed from the grid. r Section 2. The Effective date of this Ordinance is July 1, 1975.
