RESOLUTION NO. 98-122
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, AUTHORIZING THE AMENDMENT NO.1 OF LAND LEASE NO
97-105, RANDY BECKER, SEWARD HARBOR BOARDWALK LEASE SITE
NO.4 (A PORTION OF BLOCK 6, OCEANVIEW SUBDIVISION)
WHEREAS, the city of Seward entered into a lease agreement with RANDY BECKER for
the purposes of operating a charter/retail business on a portion of Block 6, Oceanview Subdivision,
described as Seward Harbor Boardwalk Lease Site No.4; and
WHEREAS, the lease agreement required construction of a building on the site, to be
completed by October 31, 1998; and
WHEREAS, RANDY BECKER has requested an extension of this deadline to May 1, 1999;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute lease amendment No. 1 with
Randy Becker.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately after passage and posting as required
by law.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Seward, Alaska, this 12th day
of October, 1998.
