AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SEWARD RELATING TO
TRAILER AND CAMPER PARKING
THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, ORDAINS:
Section 1. Section 14-81 of the Seward City Code is
hereby repealed and re-enacted to read as follows:
Sec. 14-81 Trailer Parking and Camping.
(a) No trailer shall be parked on any street or
highway of this city for a longer period than four (4) hours
at any one t~me.
(b) The Chief of Police may designate streets in the
City on which no trailer shall be stopped, parked or allowed to
stand between the hours of 6:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M.
(c) No person shall occupy or park a trailer, camper,
or other vehicle for occupancy overnight on any street, highway,
or other public area of the City, except in areas designated by
the City for this overnight parking. Additionally, no overnight
camping is permitted in the public areas of the City of Seward,
except those designated as campgrounds, or with permission of the
Chief of Police.
Section 2. This ordinance takes effect immediately upon
passage and approval.
