ORDINANCE NO. 433
AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING THE NUMBERING OF ALL ADDRESSES
WITHIN THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, ORDAINS:
Section 1. Chapter 6 of the Seward Code of Ordinance is hereby
amended by the addition of a new Section 6-5, which shall read as follows:
Section 6.5. Numbering of Buildings.
(a) The City Manager, or his designee, shall assign an
address to each lot or building within the City limits.
(b) The occupant of any building located within the City
limits shall affix to the exterior thereof the numbers
assigned to that lot or building. The numbers for each
building shall be affixed so as to be clearly visible
from the street to which the address refers.

Section 2. This ordinance takes effect ten days after passage and
