No person shall use or be addicted to the use of a narcotic drug or be under the influence of a narcotic drug in the City of Seward, Alaska except when said narcotic drugs are or ha.,e been prescribed or admin.. istered by or under the direction of a person licensed by the Territory of Alaska to prescribe and administer narcotics. SECTION 2. The term "Narcotics" as used in this ordinance shall be defined in accordance with the definition contained in Section 40..3..1 of the Alaska Complied Laws Annotated. SECTION 3. Any person con'ficted of .,iolating any provisions of this ordinance is guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punishable by imprisonment not exceeding thirty (30) days or by a fine not exceeding $300.00 or both.
