ORDINANCE NO. 30S
AN ORDINANCE TO REPEAL ORDINANCE NO. 293, AND TO HE-ENACT THE
PEOVI3ION3 OF SECTION 1.115 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, RELATING
TO REGULAR CITY COUNCIL ~1EETING DAY'::>.
THE CITY OF SENARD, ALASKA, ORDAINJ:
rhat Ordinance No. 293, dated 20 June, 19bO, be, and the
same, hereby is, repealed, and generally the provisions of
Section 1.115 of the Seward General Code are re-enacted to
cnange the regular meetin~ night of the Council from the 1st
and 3rd Friday of each month to the 1st and 3rd Monday of each
month. In accordance with the above, the subject Section shall
be amended to read as follows:

The regular meetings of the City Council shall be
held in the Courtroom of the State iluildin~ in the
City of Seward on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month,
at the hour of 0:00 o'clock P.M. Jpecial meetings may
be called by the City Clerk on t;1e written request of
Mayor, or the City Manager, or of any two members of
the CounciL Upon receipt of such request, tne CiLY
Clerk shall forthwith give due and proper notice of
the special meeting to the Mayor, to the City Manager,
and to each member of the City CounciL'>
Publication of this Ordinance shall be posting a copy
hereof on the City Hall Bulletin Board for a period of not
less than twenty (20) days immediately preceding and ten (10)
days following its passage and approval.
First reading - 5 January, 1962
Second reading - 19 January, 1962
Passed and approved by the City Council of the City of
Seward, Alaska, this 5th day of February, 1962.
