Be it ordained by the common council of the town of Seward, Alaska; Section (1) That sect ion thirteen of rrdinar.ce ~Tumber for-ty four of .. ( the town of Sew~rd Alaska, which is entitled, "An ordinance to provided for" "special and general ~unicipal Elections in the town of Seward, Territory" "of Alaska~ for the registration of voters for such election, and other" "matters prorerly relating thereto." be and hel:eby is arlJended by striking out all of said Section thirteen and inserting in the place thereof, the J following; No person shall be entitled to vote at any election held in the Town of Seward, Alaska, (Save for members of the School Board) who has not registered, unless he shall go hefore aome officer authorized to adminis~eI' oaths, other than judges or clerys of the election, and sub- scribe to an affidavid the for-m of which is prescribed in section four of said ordinance number Forty Four, and deliver said affidavit to the judges of the election; Such registration, or affidbit, ahall not be conclusive evidence of the rii::';ht of such rerson to vote, but such per- son may be chalanged and required to establishe his or her right to vote II as i6 provided in said o:rJ.inance Fumber Forty Four of the town of Seward, Alaska and the laws of the Territory of Alaska. SECTIDN 2. That there shall be added to said ordinance Number Forty Four; .nd designated as section forty six thereof; The following; That the fiscal year for registration shall begin on the first Wednesday following the first Tuesday in April of each year and 8h~11 end ~t the hour of ten o'clock P.M. on the last Saturday preceeding the fiB't Tuesday of April Off! ,- I;' each year and one registration shall be sufficiant for ~ll electionH, held.
