ORDINANCE NO. 57.
An ordinace providine for the improvement of Fifth Avenue in the
town of Seward Alaska, by grading the part thereof between Adams
and Jefferson Streets, and for the aportioning the cost thereof
and taxing two thirds thereof to the abuting property.
BE IT ORDAINED, by the Common Counoil of the town of Seward
Alaska:-
Section (1) That Fifth Avenue in the town of Seward Ala~ka,
be improved by grading that pa.rt thereof between the North margin
of Adams Street and the South Margin of Jefferson Street in sa~d
town of Seward said grading to be done in conformity with the
established grade of the town of Seward and by day labor under
the direotion of the City Engineer and the supervision of the
Street Committee of said Counoilj The coat thereof to be asoertained
and two thirds thereof apportioned and taxed against the abutting
property affected by said grade and oollected as other taxe&~on
realestate is 04l1eoted.
This ordinance shall be in force from and after' 1ts.
approval.
