BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CO~~ON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD~ ALJaKA.-

That whereas the Common Counoil of the City of Seward, Alaska
did on the 16th, day of October 1916, attempt to pass an ordinance,
"entitled; "An ordinanoe granting to the United States of Amerio& a"
"franohise to occupy a part of Railroad Avenue for Railroad Purposes,"
~laYing traoks tzaoks and switohes thereon, and olosing the same from"
'other traffios;" And whereas, the said Common Counoil of the CitYl~
Seward, Alaska, has and at that time had no power to pass said ordinaroe
and said ordinanoe beinbg wholy void and of no effect, therefor, in order
that the City of Seward may not be hereafter embarressed or that
the question of estopal may not be raised against the City on Aocount
of having long acquieaed therein, the said Common Council of the
City of Seward Alaska, BEREBY DOES DISAVOW; RENOUNCE AND DISAFFIRM

SAID ORDINANCE AND THE WHOLE THEREOF AND IS NOT NOW AND WILL NOT
