ORDINANCE NO. 66.
An ordinanoe to amend Ordinanoe No. six]y (60) of the City of
Seward, Alaska, Whioh is an ordinanoe fixing the salaries of the various
officers of said Municipality for the fisoal year ending April Tenth 1918
by seperating the offioes of Chief of the Fire Department and Patrolman
and providing a seperate salary for eaoh offioe, for the balanoe of the
!1Boal year.
Be it Ordained by the Common Council of the Town of Seward, Alaska,
That paft of Ordinance Number Sixty, whioh is an ordinanoe fixing the
S&lar188 of the variou8 offioers of said Municipality for the fiscal
year ending April Tenth 1918, whioh provides that the Chief of the Fire
Department of the said Munioipality shall also act as patrolman and
provi~ing a salary therefor is hereby repealed and in its stead,~he
following shall be inserted, "That the Chief of the Fire Department shall

receive a monthly salary of~~~.pollar8 per month, That a patrol-
man shall be apointed other than the Chief of Poliece, who shall receive
a monthly salary of 125.00
Dollars per month.
Passed the Common Counoil and approved by the Mayor this the
