AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE SALE OF LOT NINE IN BLOCK ONE
OF THE ORIGINAL TOWNSITE OF SEWARD. ALASKA, TO SAM ROMACH, AND
PRESCRIBING AND FIXING THE TERMS OF SUCH SALE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF SEWARD, ALASKA.:
Section 1. Whereas, Lot Nine in Block One of the original
townsite of the town of Seward, Alaska, is now owned and held by the
said town of Seward, and was not aoquired or held for any public use
or devoted to any public use; and it being the judgment of the said
Common Council that said property is not required for municipal purposes
and that a sale thereof for a sufficient consideration would be
advantageous to said town of Seward;
Now, therefore, be it ordained by the said Common Council
that said Lot Nine (9) in Block One (l) of the original townsite of
the town of Seward, Alaska, be sold for oash to Sam Romaoh, of 8aid
Seward, Alaska, for the sum of One Hundred l$lOO.OO} Dollars, lawful
money of the United States; and that the Mayor of said town of Seward
be, and he hereby is, authorized and directed to execute, in the name
of said town of Seward, a good and suffioient warranty deed, to Which
the seal of said town shall be affixed and attelted by the Municipal
Clerk, oonveying said property to said Sam Romaoh in consideration of
the said sum of One Hundred Dollars, said deed to be delivered to said
Sam Romach upon the payment by him to the Munioipal Clerk of said sum
of One Hundred Dollars.
Section 2. This ordinanoe shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.
Passed under Buspension of the rules, and approved, this ~O~
day of July, 1931.
