A SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS, ETC.
Be It Ortle.ined By The Goromon Council Of The rown Of Seward,
Alaska,
Section 1. That there is hereby created a separate Street
Department for the City of Seward.
Section 2. That its function shall be as that of ~her
street departments in Cities of the size of
Seward, with respect to the repair and maintenance
and construction of all streets, walks, ways and
roads within the City of Seward.
Section 3. There is hereby created the office of supBrinterden~
of streets with the duties and powers of supervision!
over the said street departMent and its function, Bna
equipment.

Section 4. It shall be the further function of the Street de- i
partment hereby created to, construct, repair Rnd !
maintain and generally deal ~ith all municipal prob-!
lems arising from ano concp,r~ed with the sewerage
system, Rnd parks and pl~ygrounds within the City
of Seward.
