l\.N ORDn;~'\KCE prohibi tin!:: the :possession of, sale, barter, ex-
chanGe, gift, and iGnitinG, explodinc fire works and other
amusement devices loaded with powder or other explosive substance
within the incorpor8ted linit,3 of the TowE or' ~3ewaI'd, Alaska,
declaring a violation thoroof to be a :::dsdeDleanor and for other
purposes, and declarin.:; an eneI'",ency.
BE IT ORD!~nmD by the Cormeon Council of the Tovm of ;Jeward, Alaska.
Election 1.
That froDl and after the date of the enactElent of this
ordinance, no person, individual, firn, corporation or company, shall
have in his and its possession any fire-cracker, roman candle, sky-
rocket, pin-wheel or other lli1usement device loaded with or containinG
pm~der or other explosive ::3Ubstance within the incorporated limits of
the Town of Seward, Alaska.
Section 2. 'i'hat fran and after the date of the enactment of this Ol'-
dinance it is hereby declared to be a nisdecu;lllor for any person, child,
or adult, to, wi thin the incorporated lini ts of the Tovm of Seward,
l~laska, liGht , iGnite, cau::.,e to be exploded or discharced, or to ex-
plode or discharge any 8nusenent device such as fire-crackers, roman
candles, pin-wheels, sky-rockets and other siI'lilar devices loaded
with powder or otho~ explosive substance, includinc paper-cap pistols.
See. 3.
J.hat the sale, barter, exchar,,- e, or .:::ift of amuserlent
devices loaded with powder or other e:h.plosive substance is hereby
prohibited within the incorporated limits of the Town of Seward,
Alaska.
Section 4. That a violation of any of ther torms and provisions of
tids Ordinance is horeby declared to be a misdelli'lllOr and subject to
fine and imprisionment as adjude;ed by the Lunicipal I:iagistrate of
said 3eward and within the lblit:3 of ;;l1e jurisdiction of the Mli.'1icipal
Court of said Seward.
Section 5.
