RESOLUTION 2000-066 .
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
APPROVE A PURCHASE ORDER IN THE AMOUNT OF $25,000 TO
RESURRECTION RENTALS FOR PORT -A-POTTY RENTALS
WHEREAS, every year portable toilets are needed in the city parks, campgrounds and
playfields to accommodate the public; and
WHEREAS, an exemption from the competitive procurement procedures is allowed
since Resurrection Rentals is the only local provider for this service; and
WHEREAS, an estimated budget for this 2000 fiscal year, based on previous years'
figures, is $25,500.00, and
WHEREAS, Council action is required to authorize any amount exceeding $10,000;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to approve a purchase order for the
sum of $25,000.00 to Resurrection Rentals.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska this 26th
day of June, 2000.
