<br />Sponsored by: Applicant <br /> <br />.... <br /> <br />CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA <br />PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION 2007-13 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE SEWARD PLANNING AND ZONING <br />COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, <br />RECOMMENDING CITY COUNCIL APPROVAL OF AMENDING THE <br />LAND USE PLAN AND REZONING OF LOTS 15, 16, 17, 18, 19,20,21, <br />CPl, CP2, CGl, CG2, BCl, BC2, BDl, AND BD2, FOREST ACRES, <br />AFOGNAK ADDITION; AND LOTS AZ, AY, BA, AX, CH, CI, CJ, CO, <br />AND CN FOREST ACRES SUBDIVISION FROM INSTITUTIONAL (INS) <br />TO RURAL RESIDENTIAL (RR) (24 PARCELS); TRACT A, FOREST <br />ACRES, AFOGNAK ADDITION AND LOTS CM, CL, CK, AW, AND AV <br />FROM INSTITUTIONAL (INS) TO RESOURCE MANAGEMENT (RM) (6 <br />PARCELS) <br /> <br />.... WHEREAS, October 9, 2006 City Council Ordinance 2006-11 amended the Land Use <br />Plan and rezoned the approximate 27.5 acre area then known as Forest Acres Tract A, Long <br />Term Care Replat from Rural Residential (RR) and Resource Management (RM) to Institutional <br />(INS) in preparation for the community's new Long Term Care facility; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this area is no longer the proposed development site of the Long Term Care <br />facility; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the property owner has submitted a request that this area be returned to the <br />previous zoning and Land Use Plan designations; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as required by Title 15 of Seward City Code, public notice and public <br />hearing procedures for amending zoning and land use district designations, all property owners <br />within three hundred (300) feet and in addition all local property owners who use the Forest <br />Acres road network were notified of the proposed zoning and land use change, and the property <br />was posted with public notice signs. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Seward Planning and Zoning <br />Commission that: <br /> <br />.... <br />
