<br />Sponsored by: Applicant <br /> <br />CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA <br />PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION 2007-16 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE SEWARD PLANNING AND ZONING <br />COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, <br />RECOMMENDING CITY COUNCIL APPROVAL OF AMENDING THE <br />LAND USE PLAN AND REZONING OF TRACT D, OF THE USS 1864, <br />SEWARD LONG TERM CARE FACILITY SUBDIVISION <br />(PRELIMINARY PLAT) AND REZONING THE NORTH PORTION OF <br />TRACT AI, USS 1864, SEWARD LONG TERM CARE FACILITY <br />SUBDIVISION (PRELIMINARY PLAT) FROM SINGLE FAMILY (Rl) <br />TO INSTITUTIONAL (INS) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Seward has requested a rezone and amendment of the Land Use <br />Plan for Tract D, of the USS 1864 Seward Long Term Care Facility (preliminary plat) from <br />Single Family Residential (RI) to Institutional (INS), and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Kenai Peninsula Borough as owners of the adjoining Tract AI, USS <br />1864, Seward Long Term Care Facility Subdivision (Preliminary Plat) have requested to be <br />included in the proposed rezone; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the public notification process has been complied with. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Seward Planning and Zoning <br />Commission that: <br /> <br />Section 1. The Commission recommends the attached Ordinance 2007- be forwarded <br />to City Council for approval, recommending the amendments to the Seward Land Use Map and <br />Rezone of Tracts Al and D, Seward Long Term Care Facility (preliminary plat). <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption. <br />
