Dunham. <br /> OPENING CEREMONY <br /> Officer Rouleau led the pledge of allegiance to the flag. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> There were present: <br /> Willard E. Dunham, presiding and Jean Bardarson <br /> Marianna Keil Vanta Shafer <br /> Bob Valdatta Ristine Casagranda <br /> comprising a quorum of the Council; and <br /> Phillip Oates, City Manager <br /> Johanna Kinney, City Clerk <br /> ABSENT — Tom Smith <br /> CITIZENS' COMMENTS ON ANY SUBJECT EXCEPT THOSE ITEMS SCHEDULED <br /> FOR PUBLIC HEARING - None <br /> APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> Motion (Bardarson /Shafer) Approve the Agenda <br /> Motion Passed Unanimous <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Resolution 2011 -026, Authorizing The City Manager To Enter Into A Contract With Brice Inc. <br /> To Produce 47,500 Cubic Yards of Rip Rap In The City Quarry At Fourth Of July Creek, To <br /> Waive The Royalty Of $5.00 Per Ton In Exchange For $22,500 Of The 47,500 Cubic Yards <br /> Being Left In The Quarry For The City In Class IV, Class III, Class II Segregated Stockpiles, <br /> And To Improve The City Rock Scales To State Of Alaska Certified Standards. <br /> Motion (Bardarson /Shafer) Approve Resolution 2011 -026 <br /> City Manager Phillip Oates s tated many companies had come to the city to buy rock in the <br /> tY g p Y p Y Y <br /> past, and normally the city declined those offers.
