Sponsored by: Planning and Zoning Commission <br /> CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA <br /> RESOLUTION 2012 -032 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, <br /> ALASKA, ADOPTING THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br /> PRIORITIES FROM APRIL 2012 TO APRIL 2013 <br /> WHEREAS, at the February 21, 2012 Planning and Zoning Commission's work session, <br /> the Commission reviewed and updated their Priorities List; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Seward City Council Rules of Procedure, adopted March 14, 1994, state <br /> that the Council should meet in an annual joint work session with the Commission to address <br /> areas of mutual concern; and <br /> WHEREAS, on March 28, 2012, the Commission and City Council held a joint work <br /> session in which they reviewed and updated the Planning and Zoning Priorities List; and <br /> WHEREAS, at their May 1, 2012 meeting, the Planning and Zoning Commission <br /> approved P & Z Resolution 2012 -07 recommending Council adoption of the 2012 Planning and <br /> Zoning Priority List. <br /> irws NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA that: <br /> Section 1. The following 2012 List of Priorities is hereby adopted: <br /> Priorities <br /> Short and Medium Term <br /> 1) Municipal Lands Management Plan (1995) — Update in conjunction with the <br /> Capital Improvement Plan and the City Land Disposal Policies and Procedures <br /> 2) Continue Rewrite of Title 15 <br /> 3) Nash Road Bench Study (Resource Management Development Impact Study) as <br /> funding allows <br /> Continuing <br /> 1) Continue recruitment efforts for the Planning and Zoning Commission <br /> 2) Continue to pursue compliance with the Seward City Zoning Code <br />
