ALA.XA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION No. 48 <br /> <br />A Resolution of the Common Council of the City of Seward, Alaska, <br />Authorizing an Expenditure of $2,200 from The nEducation and Public <br />Health and Sanitation FundH for the Purpose of Purchasing an <br />Ambulance. <br /> <br />;~Rr~S, Section 6 (B) Ordinance No. 190-A provides that the <br />Common Council of the City of Seward, Alaska may make <br />expenditures from the "Education and Public Health <br />and Sanitation FundH by resolution for the purpose of <br />improving Public health and, <br /> <br />WHE...'(BAS, the ~ulance now owned by the City or Seward, Al6.ska <br />is in a dilapidated and dangerous condition and beyond <br />the state of repair and there is a need for adequate <br />nmbulance service to preserve the pu~lic health and <br />welfare and, <br /> <br />'fHEREAS, the City of Seward Volunteer Ambulance Corps has raised <br />by public subscription all but $2,200 needed for the <br />purchase of an ambulance and have requested the City of <br />Seward, Alaska for said $2,200 with the stipulation <br />that title to the vehicle shall be vested in the City <br />of Se.~rd, Alaska. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Seward, Alaska are <br />desirous of l~intaining an ambulance service in the <br />interest of public health and welfare, <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RRSOLVED by the Common Council of the City of <br />Seward, Alaska that $2,200 be appropriated to the City of Seward <br />Volunteer .~ulanoe Corps from the "Education and Pu01ic Health <br />and Sanitation FUndH. <br /> <br />Passed and approved by the Common Council this 18th day of <br />January, 1954. <br /> <br />ail~~ <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />Attest <br /> <br />~ ..~ I,AJ ,,lQo~ <br />c~. <br />
