<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Sponsored by: Wohlforth <br /> <br />CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA <br />RESOLUTION 2000-039 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, <br />APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE LEGAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH <br />WOHLFORTH, VASSAR, JOHNSON & BRECHT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the law firm ofWohlforth, Vassar, Johnson & Brecht (the "Law Firm") has <br />served the City as its City Attorney since February 23, 1993, according to the terms of the 1993 legal <br />services agreement (the "Agreement"); <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Law Firm has provided legal services to the City at rates unchanged from <br />the 1993 Agreement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Agreement provides that rates shall be subject to renegotiation between the <br />City and the Law Firm no more frequently than once every two years; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as provided below, the parties agree to make certain amendments to the <br />Agreement. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that: <br /> <br />Section 1. The Seward City Council approves the attached Amendment NO.1 to Legal <br />Services Agreement. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption. <br /> <br />PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Seward, Alaska, this 10th <br />day of April, 2000. <br /> <br />THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA <br /> <br />(t~' 1(. - I <br />I I.)
