<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Sponsored by: Janke <br /> <br />CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA <br />RESOLUTION 2000-052 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, <br />ALASKA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A <br />CONTRACT WITH SWENSON CONSTRUCTION COMPANY TO <br />CONSTRUCT A STORAGE BUILDING AT FT. RAYMOND SUBSTATION <br />FOR A PRICE NOT- TO-EXCEED $50,000. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The City of Seward has designed and submitted for bids a storage building to <br />be located at the Ft. Raymond Substation; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, On~ contractor, Swenson Construction, responded to the request for bids for <br />this building; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Although Swenson Construction's bid for this building as submitted was <br />$62,148.00, they have agreed to make certain modifications in the construction which will allow them <br />to build the structure for the City budgeted figure of $50,000; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The City has agreed to the modifications as proposed by Swenson Construction; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Swenson <br />Construction to construct a storage building at the Ft. Raymond Substation for a not-to-exceed price <br />of$50,000. <br /> <br />Section.
