NEW BUSINESS: <br /> <br />SPEC PROJ/ A. Diener appeared before Council and stated that another <br />ESMTS: property owner had negotiated an easement agreement; Diener requested <br />that the name be added to the list which had been included in the <br />Council packets as an attachment to his January 4, 1985, memorandum. <br /> <br />SIMUTIS MOVED TO AUTHORIZE THE ADMINISTRATION TO PROCEED WITH PAYMENT <br />FOR THE ACQUISITION OF EASEMENTS ACROSS PRIVATE PROPERTY ALONG THE <br />TRANSMISSION LINE AS LISTED IN THE ATTACHMENT TO DIENER'S MEMORANDUM OF <br />JANUARY 4, 1985, WITH THE ADDITION OF ELEANOR GREBBIN; THE MOTION WAS <br />SECONDED BY WILLIAMS AND CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. <br /> <br />TRANSPORTATION: B. Garzini noted a December 31, 1984, letter from the Civil <br />(Air) : Aeronautics Board which explained that the Board would cease to exist <br />effective January 1, 1985, but the administration of the Essential Air <br />Service program would transfer to the Department of Transportation. <br />Also noted was a January 4, 1985, letter from Myers and Company in <br />support of selecting Alaska Aeronautical Industries, Inc. as an <br />Essential Service carrier for Seward. Cripps stated that all input he <br />had received had been in support of Harbor Air Service; that it had <br />served Seward with air service since 1978 and that a service originating <br />from Seward would be more dependable. CRIPPS MOVED TO SUPPORT HARBOR <br />AIR SERVICE AS AN ESSENTIAL AIR SERVICE CARRIER FOR SEWARD BY SENDING A <br />LETTER TO THE CHIEF OF THE ESSENTIAL AIR SERVICE DIVISION WITH THE <br />RECOMMENDATION AND PREPARE A RESOLUTION STATING SAME FOR APPROVAL AT THE <br />NEXT REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING; THE MOTIONS WAS SECONDED BY WILLIAMS AND <br />CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. <br /> <br />xv. <br /> <br /> <br />12:21 p.m. <br /> <br />(2~-!~ <br /> <br />Donald W.
