<br />Sponsored by: Staff <br /> <br />CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA <br />PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION 2003-11 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE SEWARD PLANNING AND ZONING <br />COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, <br />GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ULTIMATE <br />TOURS, LLC., DBA GODWIN GLACIER DOGSLED TOURS TO <br />HAVE A "TRAILER, TEMPORARY OFFICE" IN THE <br />INDUSTRIAL ZONING DISTRICT AT KENAI PENINSULA <br />BOROUGH TAX PARCEL # 145-025-15, LOCATED ALONG THE <br />SOUTH SIDE OF AIRPORT ROAD WITHIN U.S. SURVEY 9000, <br />THE ALASKA RAILROAD SEWARD TERMINAL RESERVE <br />SITUATED IN THE SEWARD RECORDING DISTRICT, THIRD <br />JUDICIAL DISTRICT, STATE OF ALASKA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ultimate Tours, LLC. dba Godwin Glacier Dogsled Tours has <br />applied for a conditional use permit from the Seward Planning and Zoning Commission <br />to have a "Trailer, temporary office" use on land owned by the Alaska Railroad <br />Corporation in order to provide support for their chartered touring business; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, they have a special land use permit from the property owner, the <br />Alaska Railroad Corporation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the property is in the Industrial Zoning District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, according to the Seward City Code, Land Uses Allowed Table <br />15.10.225, "Trailer, temporary office" is a conditionally permitted use in the Industrial <br />Zoning District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, according to the Seward City Code, Land Uses Allowed Table <br />15.10.225, offices for charters are a use permitted outright in the Industrial Zoning <br />District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the public notification process has been complied with; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on June 3, 2003, the Planning and Zoning Commission held the <br />required public hearing on the conditional use permit application. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Seward Planning and Zoning <br />Commission that: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />According to SCC 15.l0.320.D., the Commission shall establish a finding <br />
