<br />Sponsored by: Staff <br /> <br />CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA <br />PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2003-13 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE SEWARD PLANNING AND ZONING COMMIS- <br />SION, RECOMMENDING KENAI PENINSULA BOROUGH APPROVAL OF <br />THE LEIRER INDUSTRIAL SUBDIVISION, BECKER REPLAT, A <br />RESUBDIVISION OF LOTS 5 AND 6, BLOCK 1, LEIRER INDUSTRIAL <br />SUBDIVISION SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Cline & Associates submitted a preliminary plat of Leirer Industrial <br />Subdivision, Becker Replat to the City of Seward for review and recommendation to the Kenai <br />Peninsula Borough; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the re-subdivision moves the interior lot line between Lots 5 and 6, to the by <br />North approximately 20.68 feet; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the property is zoned Industrial which allows for a minimum lot size of 10,000 <br />square feet and a minimum lot width of 100 feet; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the new lots meet the minimum lot size and width requirements of the Seward <br />Zoning Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the municipal water, sewer and electric is currently available to the property; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with Seward City Code, the Commission held a public hearing on <br />the preliminary plat at its July 1, 2003 regular meeting. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Seward Planning and Zoning <br />Commission that: <br /> <br />Section 1. The Commission recommends that the Kenai Peninsula Borough approve the <br />Leirer Industrial Subdivision, Becker Replat, a re-subdivision of Lots 5 and 6, Block 1, Leirer <br />Industrial Subdivision, subject to the sub-divider meeting the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. Provide the utility easements identified on the preliminary plat; <br /> <br />2. Provide an as-built survey so that the City can verilY that the re-subdivision will not create <br />any encroachments into required setbacks. <br />
