Roll call show d <br />all present except Mayor Osbo. Mr. Joe Doshen acting as Mayor pro em. <br /> <br />The readlng of the minutew of the last regular session were <br />approved without question. <br /> <br />l~ <br /> <br />A letter was read from the Seward School Board asking for <br />the sum of $2500.00 as our share of tpe School Budget. Motion made <br />by Mr. Benson and seconded by Mr. Cooper that this amount be grRnt d <br />Motion carried on roll call. <br /> <br />The City payroll iin the amount of $1221.83 was brought up <br />for approval. Motion made by Mr. Cooper and seconded by Mr. Benson <br />that the payroll be paid as read. Motion carried. <br /> <br />The City has now quite a bit of equipment for fire fighting <br />and the question was brought up about marking our hose for indent- <br />ification so that it would not get mixed up with the Army OD Eng- <br />ineers. Mr. Doshen promised to take care of this matter. <br /> <br />Seward Electric System monthly payroll in the Amount of <br />$1576.68 read for approval. Motion made by Mr. Leire ann ~econded <br />by Mr. Cooper that the payroll be paid as read. Motion carried. <br /> <br />City of Seward monthly bills in the amount of $328.37 read <br />for approval. Motion made by Mr. Benson and seconded by Mr. Leirer <br />that bills be paid. Motion earried. <br /> <br />Seward Electric System monthly bills in the amount of $1499 78 <br />read for approval. Motion made by Mr'. Cooper and seconded by Mr. <br />Moser that bills be paid. Motion carried. <br /> <br />The question of having the Seward Electric System take a in <br />ventory of the Plant came up for discussion. It was decided to lea e <br />this matter to the Light Committee. <br /> <br />Quite a discussion followed about having the Seward Electri <br />System books audited. No auditor available at present. The Council <br />asked the Clerk if he could bring the books up to date.
