<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Sponsored by: Janke <br /> <br />CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA <br />RESOLUTION 2000-71 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, <br />ALASKA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO PAY $22,191.26 TO <br />HOMER ELECTRIC ASSOCIATION FOR CONTRACT SERVICES <br />RENDERED TO INSTALL UNDERGROUND ELECTRICAL FACILITIES <br />FOR THE CITY OF SEWARD. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Seward crews were already engaged in installing services to various <br />customers in the service territory; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Seward Park Subdivision and Herndon and Thompson RV Park needed <br />electrical service as soon as possible this spring; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Homer Electric Association (REA) had an underground crew available which <br />they were willing to have work in the Seward area for a short period of time: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, utilizing the REA crew allowed the Seward Electric Utility to install the services <br />to customers in a timely manner; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to pay Homer Electric Association $22,191.26 <br />for contract services to install underground electrical facilities to Herndon and Thompson RV Park, <br />and the Seward Park Subdivision. <br /> <br />Section 2. This billing will be charged to Account 501-5300-5390. <br /> <br />Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption. <br /> <br />PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council ofthe city of Seward, Alaska, this 10th day <br />of July, 2000. <br /> <br />THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA <br /> <br />LfL, /')fLt ~ ' <br />.
