CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
ORDINANCE 2000-05
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, AMENDING SEWARD CITY CODE TITLE 2 ADMINISTRATION
RELATING TO PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION REGULAR
MEETING DAY.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission regular meetings are established by
Seward City Code S2.30.220 as the first Wednesday of the month; and
WHEREAS, at its February 2, 2000 meeting the Planning and Zoning Commission
recommended City Council approval of an ordinance to change the Commission's regular meeting
day to the first Tuesday of the month.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
HEREBY ORDAINS that:
Section 1. Seward City Code Tile 2 Administration Chapter 2.30. Boards and
Commissions, Section 2.30.220 Meetings and quorum. Is hereby amended to read as follows:
A. The Seward Planning and Zoning Commission shall meet at 7:30 p.m. in the city council
chambers on the first 'vYGdnGsday Tuesday of each month...
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect ten (10) days following its enactment.
ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, this
28th day of February, 2000.
