RESOLUTION 2005-22
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, RE-APPROPRlATING REMAINING FUNDS
UNSPENT FROM THE 2004 BUDGET FOR ENGINEERING
SERVICES FOR THE THIRD AVENUE WATER MAIN PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Seward City Council approved Resolution 2004-21 on February 23,
2004, authorizing a contract with CRW Engineering Group, LLC for the purpose of
engineering the Third Avenue Water Line project, and appropriating funds in the amount of
$168,500; and
WHEREAS, the budget for this project was contained in the Water Enterprise Fund,
appropriations for which lapse at year-end; and
WHEREAS, as of December 31, 2004, the City has paid the contractor a total of
$68,954.97 for this project, leaving a balance of $99,545.03 remaining on the project; and
WHEREAS, the administration desires to re-appropriate the balance of project funds
totaling $99,545.03 to the 2005 Budget, necessitating a transfer from Water Enterprise Fund
reserves.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. Funds in the amount of$99,545.03 are hereby re-appropriated from
the Water Enterprise Fund reserve account no. 701-0000-3050 to the Water contracted
services account no. 701-7400-5390 for the purposes of completing the Third A venue
Water Line project engineering.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Seward, Alaska,
this 29th day of March, 2005.
