A 1G ROOM EMPLOYEE BUNKHOUSE <br />ON TRACT A, CLEARV[EW SUBDIVISION NUMBER 3, LOCATED <br />WEST OF ALICE STREET BETWEEN RESURRECTION BOULEVARD <br />ANU PHOENIX ROAD WITHIN THE AUTO COMMERCIAL ZONING <br />DISTRICT <br />WIIEREAS, CtRI Alaska Tourism dba Kenai Fjords Tours (KF"T) has applied for a <br />Conditional Use Permit (GUY) to construct and operate an employee bunkhouse on 'bract A, <br />Clearview Subdivision Number 3; and <br />WHEREAS, the property is located West of Alice Street between Resurrection <br />Boulevard and Phoenix Road_ within the Auto Commercial Zoning District (AC); and <br />"~` WHEREAS, in accordance with the Land Uses Allowed Table (15.10.225), employee <br />bunkhouses are allow within the Auto Commercial Zoning District (AC) by Conditional Use <br />Permit (CUP); and <br />WHEREAS, having complied with the public notification process; on November 18, <br />2008, the Seward Planning and 7,oning Commission held the required public hearing on the <br />Conditional Use Permit application. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Seward Planning and 7,oning <br />Commission that: <br />Section 1. In accordancc with SCC § 15.10.320 (D), the Planning and 7.oning Commission has <br />reviewed the applicant's request for a CUP to construct and operate a ]6-unit employee <br />bunkhouse on Tract A, Clearview Subdivision Number 3, and made the following Findings of <br />Pact: <br />1. The crse is consistent with the purpose of this ckapter (the Seward 7_oning Code) and <br />the purposes of the zoning district. <br />Finding: This condition has been established or shall be through the conditions. <br />The property is located within the Auto Commercial Zoning District (AC).
