A RESOLUTION OF THE SEWARD PLANNING AND ZONING
COMMISSION, RECOMMENlltNG CITY COUNCIL AMEND LAND
USES ALLOWED TABLE 15.]0.225. TO ALLOW NIGHTLY LODGING,
Wl'CHIN A MULTI-FAMILY DWELLING APARTMF,NT BY
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT (CUP) W[THIN THE HARBOR
COMMERCIAL ZONING DISTRICT (HC)
WHEREAS, the public requested a zoning change to allow nightly lodging within a
multi-family aparhnent building within the Harbor Commercial Zoning District; and
WHEREAS, the public notification process has been complied with.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Seward Planning and 'Coning
Commission that:
Section i. l'hc Commission recommends Council approval of Ordinance 2009-
attached and incorporated herein by reference with the following additional WHEREAS, primary
lodging within the Harbor Commercial District is nightly lodging; and.
Section 2. 'This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the Seward Planning and 'coning Commission this 20th
day of.lanuary 2009.
