CALL TO ORDER <br /> The September 1, 2011 special meeting of the Seward City Council was called to order at <br /> 7:05 p.m. by Mayor Willard Dunham. <br /> OPENING CEREMONY <br /> Council led the pledge of allegiance to the flag. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> There were present: <br /> Willard Dunham presiding and Marianna Keil <br /> Vanta Shafer Tom Smith <br /> Bob Valdatta Ristine Casagranda <br /> comprising a quorum of the Council; and <br /> Kris Erchinger, Finance Director <br /> Johanna Kinney, City Clerk <br /> r v.. <br /> Absent — Jean Bardarson <br /> CITIZENS' COMMENTS ON ANY SUBJECT EXCEPT THOSE ITEMS SCHEDULED <br /> FOR PUBLIC HEARING - None <br /> APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> Motion (Keil /Shafer) Approval of Agenda <br /> Motion Passed Unanimous <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Resolution 2011 -069, Designating State Of Alaska, Department Of Environmental <br /> Conservation (ADEC) Grant Funds For The Project Entitled North Seward Water Storage <br /> Tank & Pumping Facility Phase II As The Number One Local State Funding Priority For <br /> Fiscal Year 2013. <br /> Motion (Keil /Shafer) Approve Resolution 2011 -069 <br /> Iwo Erchinger stated this was worth the council's time tonight. DEC had a requirement in their <br /> scoring system for grants, one being this resolution requesting this project be listed as the number <br /> one state priority. This would help the competitiveness of the application and add more points to <br />
