RESOLUTION 2018-009
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, TERMINATING THE EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT WITH
CITY MANAGER JAMES HUNT
WHEREAS, on October 10, 2011, the City Council approved an employment agreement
with James Hunt for City Manager services; and
WHEREAS,the City can terminate the agreement for any or no reason,or without resort to
any determination of cause or necessary explanation by the City as stated in the October 11, 2011
contract; and
WHEREAS,the City will give written notice today; and
WHEREAS,the Seward City Council wishes to terminate the employment agreement with
the City Manager,James Hunt, according to the contract, effective immediately.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD,ALASKA that:
Section 1.The employment agreement between the City of Seward and James Hunt for City
Manager services is terminated according to the contract.
Section 2. This resolution shall take affect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Seward, Alaska, this 22nd
day of January, 2018.
