CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 80-16
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO RENEGOTIATE
THE ENGINEERING CONTRACT FOR EXTENS ION QF NASH ROAD
WHEREAS, the City of Seward has been awarded a grant to extend
Nash Road to Fourth of July Creek; and
WHEREAS, the firm of R & M has done the initial center line
survey; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Transportation will approve R & M
based on their experience and credibility; and
WHEREAS, use of R & M will allow an immediate start on the
project; and
WHEREAS, Section 10-8(E) allows procurement of professional
services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that the City Manager be authorized to negotiate an
amended contract with R & M for the design and extension to Nash Road.
