RESOLUTION NO. 149
A RESOLUTION TO ESTABLISH A SAVINGS ACCOUNT UNDER THE PAYROLL ACCOUNT FOR
THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, WITH THE SEWARD BRANCH, FIRST NATIONAL BANK
OF ANCHORAGE, SEWARD, ALAS~J\..
WHEREAS the City of Seward, Alaska, desires to establish a Savings
Account. t.o be known as the City of Seward Payroll Savings Account for the
purpose of accepting funds to cover accrued annual leave earned by
employees of the City of Seward, Seward Electric Systan and Seward Water
SYf'tem, and
WHEREAS it is necessary to instruct the Seward Branch, First National
Bank of AnChorage to honor withdrawal requests on the City of Seward Payroll
Savings Account containing certain signatures,
NO\'I, THEREFOhE, BE IT RiSOLVED, and it is hereby resolved that the
Seward Branch, First National Bank of Anchorage, be, and it is hereby in-
structed to honor the signatures of Alex Petrovich as Acting City Manager,
Beatrice E. Watts as City Clerk and Elizabeth L. Mahan as City Treasurer,
effective April 19, 1960 for all withdrawal requests drawn upon the CITY
OF SFJ.>lARL PAYROLL SAVINGS ACCOUNT.
An emergency is hereby declared to exist and the rules governing the
passage of ordinances and resolutions are 'hereby suspended and this
Resolution is hereby given immediate effect upon its passage and approval.
