CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION 2001-014
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO PAY ELECTRIC
POWER SYSTEMS $13,374.16 FOR PROVIDING TESTING,
COMMISSIONING, AND INST ALL A nON OF RELAYS NECESSARY FOR
THE OPERATION OF GENERATOR NUMBER 6 AT FT. RAYMOND
SUBSTATION.
WHEREAS, Electric Power Systems submitted a proposal to the Engineering Firm of
Dryden & LaRue for a price not-to-exceed $14,000 to perform certain services related to the testing,
commissioning and installation of relays in Ft. Raymond Substation for the installation of Generator
Number 6; and,
WHEREAS, Electric Power Systems has completed this work for a price of$13,374.16.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section L The City Manager is authorized to pay Electric Power Systems $13,374.16 for
testing, commissioning and installation of relays in Ft. Raymond Substation related to the operation
of Generator Number 6.
Section 2. Payment for these services to be charged to Account 505-5050-XXXX.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 22nd
day of January, 2001.
