<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Sponsored by: Janke <br /> <br />CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA <br />RESOLUTION 2001-018 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, <br />ALASKA, SUPPORTING THE SEWARD (ARMY) RESORT'S CONCEPT <br />OF A RECREATIONAL ACTIVITY CENTER INCLUDING A BOWLING <br />ALLEY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Seward Resort is planning to construct a recreational activity center <br />which would be open to the public year round; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the center would include a 10-lane bowling alley, a video game room, <br />miniature golf course and a food outlet; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City's Strategic Plan includes promotion of winter activities and a goal <br />to attract more public sector employment and program funding; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the operation of a bowling program has, in the recent past, proven both <br />successful and economically positive in Seward; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that: <br /> <br />Section 1.
