Sponsored by: Schaefermeyer CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA RESOLUTION NO. 90-021 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROVING MODIFICATIONS TO THE SMALL BOAT HARBOR VEHICLE PARKING REGUI.ATIONS TO CREATE A FOUR HOUR PARKING LOT WHEREAS, the Seward Small Boat Harbor attracts thousands of harbor users for business and recreation use annually, though particularly during the late spring, summer and early fall months; and WHEREAS, parking space for auto vehicles is limited by availability of uplands space and commercial development; and WHEREAS, it is in the best interest order and structure for the use of space ordinances and regulations governing properties; and of the public set aside for the use of to provide parking by designated WHEREAS, it is in the best public interest to adopt regula- tions that will benefit the enterprises located in and adjacent to the Small Boat Harbor; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that: Section 1. The parking lot bordered on the east by the boardwalk, the west by 4th Avenue, the south by The Landing and the harbor ramp driveway and north by Ray's Waterfront Restaurant and the harbor ramp driveway, shall be designated as a four (4) hour parking lot. Section 2. The four hour parking restriction shall be in effect from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Section 3. The four hour parking restriction shall be effective from May 15 until September 30 of any given year. Section 4. This resolution shall take effect May 15, 1990.
