<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Sponsored by: Janke <br /> <br />CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA <br />RESOLUTION 2000-023 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, <br />ALASKA, CLOSING OUT THE HARBOR BOARDWALK LEASE <br />IMPROVEMENTS CAPITAL PROJECT BY APPROPRIATING $29,494.63 <br />FROM THE SMALL BOAT HARBOR ENTERPRISE FUND TO THE <br />HARBOR BOARDW ALK LEASE IMPROVEMENTS CAPITAL PROJECT <br />FUND AND $29,494.63 FROM THE HARBOR BOARDWALK LEASE <br />IMPROVEMENTS CAPITAL PROJECT FUND TO THE WATER/SEWER <br />ENTERPRISE FUND <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on January 10, 2000, Council approved resolution no. 2000-004 closing <br />out the Harbor Boardwalk Lease Improvements Capital Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in closing the fund for this project and in preparation of the financial <br />audit for the six-month period ending December 31, 1999, the [mance department discovered <br />that not enough funds had been appropriated from the Small Boat Harbor Enterprise Fund <br />(SBH) to the capital project to cover the Harbor's share of the water/sewer improvements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this does not change the total cost of the project of $305,345 already <br />approved, nor does it change the amounts allocated to the Harbor Boardwalk leases; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the SBH's share ofthe total costs of $305,345 is $151,088.60 of which <br />$53,577.80 will be recouped from the Harbor Boardwalk leases and $26,023.88 will be recouped <br />from the lease of the Lions Club site; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the SBH had contributed a total of$121,593.97 to the project and an <br />additional appropriation of $29,464.63 is needed to close out the Harbor Boardwalk Lease <br />Improvements Capital Project Fund; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Water/Sewer Enterprise Fund contributed $120,193.03 which is <br />$29,464.63 too much and should be reimbursed from the project. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that: <br /> <br />Section 1. The Harbor Boardwalk Lease Improvements Capital Project Fund be closed <br />out by appropriating $29,494.63 from the Small Boat Harbor Enterprise Fund, account no. <br />401-0000-3071-0703, to the Harbor Boardwalk Lease Improvements Capital Project Fund, <br />
