CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />The February 2. 1994, regular meeting of the Seward Port and Commerce Advisory <br />Board was called to order at 12:15 p.m. hy Chairman James Pruitt. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br />There were present: <br /> <br />James Pruitt, presiding, and <br />Willard Dunham <br />Sharon Anderson <br />Patrick Brown <br />Jack Goodwill <br /> <br />Doug Lechner <br />Ron Long <br />Jack Scoby <br /> <br />comprising a quorum of the Board; and <br /> <br />Tyler Jones, City Manager <br />Dorothy Urbach, ARRICBC Representative <br />Gwynne Pilch, Port Assistant <br /> <br />ABSENT was: <br /> <br />Dale Hoogland (excused) <br /> <br />3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Anderson moved to approve the December 2, 1993, special meeting minutes as <br />presented; the motion was seconded by Scoby, and the minutes were approved without <br />objection. <br /> <br />4. INTRODUCfION OF GUESTS/SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br /> <br />A. Whittier City Council and Representatives. Pruitt introduced Whittier City <br />Manager Gary WiHiams. Williams noted the need for the two communities to network with <br />one another in terms of future development. Williams introduced Whittier's representatives; <br />Mayor Ben Butler, Vice Mayor Scott Walther, Councilmember RoNn Gaboury, and <br />Councilroember Rick Singsaas. Williams also introduced Jim Barnett, Whittier's advisor <br />relating to legal, business and policy matters. <br /> <br />Seward Mayor Dave Crane introduced Seward City Manager Tyler Jones and <br />Seward's Councilrncmbers; Hugh Darling, Bruce Sieminski, Pat O'Brien, and Margaret <br />Anderson. <br />
