CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
RESOLUTION NO. 91-007
A RESOLUTION OF THE SEWARD PLANNING AND ZONING
COMMISSION, RECOMMENDING THAT THE CITY COUNCIL
APPROVE AN AMENDMENT TO SCC ~ 15.10.225 TO ALLOW
SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCES IN THE AUTO COMMERCIAL ZONE
WHEREAS, the Seward City Council has introduced proposed
Ordinance No. 664, which would amend the Seward Zoning Code to
allow single family residences in the Auto Commercial Zonej and
WHEREAS, the Seward Planning and Zoning Commission has
conducted a public hearing on the proposed Zoning Code amendmentj
and
WHEREAS, a single family residence would not be incompatible
with many of the uses allowed in the Auto Commercial Zonej and
WHEREAS, it would be in the public interest to allow single
family residences in the AC Zonej
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Seward Planning and
Zoning Commission that:
Section 1. The Seward City Council is urged to enact
Ordinance No. 664, permitting single family residences in the Auto
Commercial Zone.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the Seward Planning and Zoning
Commission this 6th day of November, 1991.
