<br />Sponsored by Schaefermeyer <br /> <br />CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA <br />PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-13 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE SEWARD PLANNING AND ZONING <br />COMMISSION, APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />AS REQUESTED BY PIERRE AUTHIER, DBA THE JOINERY <br /> <br />Whereas, Pierre Authier, dba The Joinery, has requested a conditional use permit <br />to construct and operate a commercial woodworking shop at 612 Third Avenue which <br />is located within the Office Residential District; and <br /> <br />Whereas, the proposed use is consistent with the purposes of the zoning district; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Whereas, the proposed new structure, if reduced in size, will meet all setback <br />requirements of the property; and <br /> <br />Whereas, the proposed use meets all criteria established for the granting of a <br />conditional use permit; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Seward Planning and Zoning <br />Commission that: <br /> <br />Section 1. A Conditional Use Permit for the construction and operation of a <br />commercial woodworking shop at 612 third Avenue is hereby GRANTED to Pierre <br />Authier, dba The Joinery, under the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. The addition will be reduced in size to 27 ft. x 38 ft to allow for 6-foot side <br />yard setbacks and to bring the overall building coverage down below the maximum of <br />35%; and <br /> <br />2. The final building design will be submitted to the Commission for review <br />prior to construction. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption. <br /> <br />PASSED AND APPROVED by the Seward Planning and Zoning Commission this <br />5th day of August, 1992. <br />
