<br />Sponsored by Staff <br /> <br />CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA <br />PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION NO. 93-13 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE SEWARD PLANNING AND ZONING <br />COMMISSION, ADDING CONDITIONS TO THE CONDITIONAL <br />USE PERMIT ISSUED ON JUNE 2, 1993, TO BRAD SNOWDEN <br />FOR DEVELOPMENT AND OPERATION OF A HOTEL ON ALASKA <br />RAILROAD RIGHT OF WAY WITHIN THE SMALL BOAT HARBOR <br />AS AUTHORIZED BY ~ 15.10.320 OF THE SEWARD CITY CODE <br /> <br />Whereas, Brad Snowden requested and was granted a Conditional Use Permit by <br />Resolution No. 93-12 for development and operation of a hotel on Alaska Railroad right <br />of way within the Small Boat Harbor area; and <br /> <br />Whereas, the permittee has submitted a site plan for Planning Commission review; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Seward Planning and Zoning <br />Commission that: <br /> <br />Section 1. As a result of review of the submitted site plan, the Conditional Use <br />Permit authorized by Planning and Zoning Commission Resolution No. 93-12 to Brad <br />Snowden for development and operation of a hotel on Alaska Railroad Right of Way <br />within the Seward Small Boat Harbor area is amended to include the following additional <br />conditions: <br /> <br />1. A final site plan incorporating all identified conditions will be submitted to <br />the city for review as part of the building permit application. <br /> <br />2. Fourth Avenue right of way will be realigned in such a manner as to skirt <br />the west side of the sewer pump station and intersect a right of way extending from <br />Third Avenue along the property line of Lot I, Block I, North Harbor Subdivision (NAPA <br />property) around to Port Avenue. <br /> <br />3. The construction relocation of Fourth A venue must take place after <br />September 15th and before May 15th. <br /> <br />4. Permittee will provide enough paved, striped public parking spaces to <br />replace those lost during relocation of Fourth Avenue to maintain a total of 148 spaces. <br /> <br />5. The replacement RV dump station must be installed prior to May IS, 1994. <br />The dump station will be located at either the public restroom facilities at the Chamber <br />of Commerce Visitor Center or the Waterfront Park.
