HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes1994-022 Sponsored by Jones CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 94-022 A RESOLUTION OF THE SEWARD PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION, APPROVING A SIX MONTH EXTENSION TO THE CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT ISSUED TO THE SEWARD VOLUNTEER AMBULANCE CORP WHEREAS, the Seward Volunteer Ambulance Corps (SV AC) received a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) on May 4, 1994, for development and operation of an emergency services facility located at the comer of Second A venue and 0 Street within the Rl zoning district; and WHEREAS, SV AC has requested a six month extension to provide time to complete and obtain approval of the building design, and to construct the facility in the spring of 1995; and WHEREAS, in accordance with SCC ~ 15.10.320 E., the Planning and Zoning Commission is authorized to grant extensions not to exceed six months upon a finding that the circumstances have not changed sufficiently to warrant a reconsideration of the approval of the CUP; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Seward Planning and Zoning Commission that: Section 1. Circumstances have not changed sufficiently to warrant a reconsidera- tion of approval of the CUP that was issued to SV AC. Section 2. A six month extension through May I, 1995, of the CUP approved by P & Z Resolution No. 94-007 is hereby granted to the Seward Volunteer Ambulance Corps. Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption. PASSED AND APPROVED by the Seward Planning and Zoning Commission this 2nd day of November, 1994.
