HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes1995-014 Sponsored by: Staff CITY OF SEWARD PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 25=14 A RESOLUTION OF THE SEWARD PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION, GRANTING A SECOND SIX MONTH CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT EXTENSION TO SEWARD VOLUNTEER AMBULANCE CORPS AS AUTHORIZED BY 15.10.320. E. OF THE SEWARD ZONING CODE WHEREAS, Seward Volunteer Ambulance Corps (SVAC) requested and was granted a Conditional Use Permit by Resolution No. 94-007 for development and operation of an emergency services facility at the corner of Second A venue and D Street within a Rl zoning district; and WHEREAS, Resolution No. 94-22, granted a six month Conditional Use Permit extension to SV AC through May 1, 1995, in accordance with SCC ~ 15.1O.320.E; and WHEREAS, SV AC has submitted the building design plans and an artist conceptual drawing for the Planning and Zoning Commission's review and approval; and WHEREAS, a letter of request for a second extension of the Conditional Use Permit was received from the Seward Volunteer Ambulance Corps on April 28, 1995. WHEREAS, section 15.1O.320.E. of the Seward Zoning Code allows the P&Z Commission to grant extensions not to exceed six months upon a finding that the circumstances have not changed sufficiently to warrant a reconsideration of the approval of the conditional use permit. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SEWARD PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION of the City of Seward that: Section 1. Circumstances have not changed sufficiently to warrant a reconsideration of the approval of the conditional use permit to Seward Volunteer Ambulance Corps for development of an emergency services facility at the northeast corner of Second A venue and D Street. Section 2. The Seward Volunteer Ambulance Corps is granted a six month extension through November 1, 1995, of the Conditional Use Permit authorized by Planning & Zoning Commission Resolution No. 94-007. Seward Planning and Zoning Commission Resolution No. 95-14 Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
