PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
RESOLUTION 2003-15
A RESOLUTION OF THE SEWARD PLANNING AND ZONING
COMMISSION, RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE FINAL
SITE PLAN AND IDENTIFIED CONDITIONS REQUIRED FOR
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 2002-01, ALLOWING JAMES T.
PRUITT TO DEVELOP A HOTEL WITHIN THE HARBOR
COMMERCIAL ZONING DISTRICT ON THE ALASKA
RAILROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY LEASE PROPERTY.
WHEREAS, James T. Pruitt has submitted a final site plan incorporating all
identified conditions to the Planning and Zoning Commission for their review and
approval as required by Conditional Use Permit 2002-01; and
WHEREAS, these conditions were required to be approved prior to initiating
construction ofthe hotel development; and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission has determined that all the
conditions have been met by James T. Pruitt; and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission held a special meeting on
June 26, 2003 in order to review the fmal site plan and identified conditions for
Conditional Use Permit 2002-01.
NOW, THEREFORE, Q IT RESOLVED by the Seward Planning and Zoning
Commission that:
Section 1. The Planning and Zoning Commission hereby approves the final
site plan incorporating all conditions identified by Conditional Use Permit 2002-01.
Section 2.
This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the Seward PlaI1lling and Zoning Commission
this 26th day of June, 2003.
