PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
RESOLUTION NO. 2005-07
A RESOLUTION OF THE SEW ARD PLANNING AND ZONING
COMMISSION, RECOMMENDING KENAI PENINSULA BOROUGH
APPROVAL OF THE RESUBDMSION OF LOTS 18 AND 19, BLOCK 8,
CLIFF ADDITION, DIECK GRAEFF REPLA T NUMBER 2
WHEREAS, Cline & Associates submitted a preliminary plat of the Cliff Addition,
Dieckgraeff Replat number 2, to the City of Seward for review and recommendation to the Kenai
Peninsula Borough; and
WHEREAS, the subdivision relocates the property line between lots 18 and 19 ten (10)
feet westerly; and
WHEREAS, the subdivision vacates an unused utility easement and grants utility
easements to existing utility corridors; and
WHEREAS, the property is zoned Urban Residential which allows a mix of residential
uses and low impact home professional offices; and
WHEREAS, the new lots exceed the minimum lot size and width requirements of the
Seward Zoning Code; and
WHEREAS, the property is served by existing public utilities and developed streets, and
therefore meets all of the requirements of the Seward Subdivision Code and no further
subdivision agreement is required; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Seward City Code, the Planning and Zoning
Commission held a public hearing on the preliminary plat at its AprilS, 2005 regular meeting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Seward Planning and Zoning
Commission that:
Section 1. The Commission recommends Kenai Peninsula Borough approval of the
Cliff Addition DieckgraeffReplat Number 2, a Re-subdivision of: Lots 18 and 19, Block 8, Cliff
Addition, Dieckgraeff Replat.
