RESOLUTION 2005-16
A RESOLUTION OF THE SEWARD PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, RESCINDING RESOLUTION 2004-20,
ALLOWING A RACETRACK IN THE INSTITUTIONAL ZONING DISTRICT
BY CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
WHEREAS, Resolution 2004-20 was approved by the Commission on February
1,2005; and
WHEREAS, the proposed ordinance accompanying Resolution 2004-20 created
conflicts with the City Code and another course of action was developed by the
Commission to provide options for allowing a racetrack; and
WHEREAS, rescinding Resolution 2004-20 is required in order to provide a
conclusion for the actions taken by the Commission and to maintain continuity of the
archived resolutions. .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Seward Planning and Zoning
Commission that:
Section 1. The Commission rescinds Resolution 2004-20.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the Seward Planning and Zoning Commission this 7th
day of June, 2005.
