ORDINANCE NO, 16
I An ordinance amending section nine of or.
dinance number seven of the Town of Seward,
Alaska.
Be it ordained and enacted by the Common
Council of the Town of Seward. Ala.kg;
That section. nine of ordinance number -sev-
en of the Town of Seward, Alaska. entitled an
Ordinance to provide for Fire Protection, a
Fire Department. and Establish Fire Limits
I within the Town of Seward. Alaska. be and
the same is hereby amended, by striking out
all of Section Nine of said Ordinance Number
Seven, after the word "beginning" which fol.
lows the words "to-wit", and insert in place
thereof the following: "at a point on the
south limit of the Town of Seward. Alaaka,
due south of the center line of the south end
of First avenue in said Town of Seward, run-
ning thence due north, from said point. to the
center of the south end of said First avenue,
and continuing north along the center of said
First avenue to a point where the center line "
of said First avenue intersects with the center I
line of Jeffer80n street, in said Town of Sew- I
ard, and running thence east, along the cen- i .
ter line of said Jefferson street, to the eas~ .
end of said street, and continuing due east to
the eastern limits of said Town of Seward.
running thence in a southerly direction, a
southwesterly direction, and a westerly direc-
tion, following the line of the town limits of
the said Town of Seward, to the place of be- I
ginning; 80 that said section nine of said or- .
~inance number seven will read as follows: I
~~ection 9. The fire limits of the Town of
Seward, Alaska, are hereby declared to be as
follows, to wit:- !
Beginning at a point on the south limit of!
the Town of Seward, Alaska, due south of the I

Town of Seward, running thence due north,
from said point, to the center of the south end
of said First avenue, and continuing, thence I J

ard, and running thence east along the cen-
ter line of said Jefferson street to the east end

erly direction, a southwesterly direction, and a
westerly direction, following the line of. the
.town limits, of the !Said Town of Seward, to
the place of beginning.
This amendment to said ordinance Number
Seven shall take effect and be in full force
and effect from the date of its passage and ap..
proval.

1914<
